Laura Henry
1st & 2nd Year Meisner / Audition Technique / Scene Study
Laura Henry has been teaching Meisner technique for 20 years and is acknowledged as one of the leading instructors of the Meisner technique. In addition to directing her studio, Ms. Henry works as a script consultant and private acting coach on film and television projects. She trained with Kathryn Gately and holds a B.F.A. from The Boston Conservatory. Ms. Henry was a founding faculty member at the Gately / Poole Acting Studio in New York. Her L.A. theatre directing credits including Raft of Medusa, Shift, An Evening with Malcom Boyd and the L.A. Theater Festival. Her extensive film, television and theater acting credits include television appearances on The West Wing, The District, Malcolm in the Middle, Ally McBeal and E.R. She recently co-directed her first film Big Top Winkle.

Alexander Technique
Julia Caulder is an AmSAT certified teacher of the Alexander Technique and is a graduate of the Alexander Training Institute of Los Angeles. Ms. Caulder received her Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles and a Master of Music Degree from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois. She is a professional singer with the Los Angeles Opera and Opera Pacific.

Movement Workshop
Nan Friedman is a graduate of the Juilliard School (Dance) and The Gately / Poole Acting Studio. Ms. Friedman has choreographed and performed throughout the U.S., Europe and Israel for theatre, television, film and live concerts, including Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Monsters of Grace, Educating Mom, the L.A. Theater Festival as well as productions at Stages, the Zephyr, the Matrix, Incline Theatre Group and the Public Theater.

Mary Irwin
Voice and Accent
Mary is head of Voice and Speech at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts and has also taught in New York, London and in Los Angeles teaching both voice and accent. She is a Voice Coach for the North Carolina Shakespeare Festival. Professional acting credits include work in the theatre, television and film. Mary holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Voice Studies from the Central School of Speech and Drama and is a Designated Linklater teacher.

Ben Furey

Voice and Accent
Ben Furey is currently on the faculty of the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, where he teaches voice, text and accent. Mr. Furey's professional voice and accent coaching credits include productions at the Guthrie Theater, Colorado Shakespeare Festival, North Carolina Shakespeare Festival, Dallas Theater Center and the Gate Theatre, Dublin. He was Dialect Consultant on a feature film shot in Dublin that starred Alfred Molina, Brenda Fricker and Mike Myers. He has taught voice and accent in Ireland and Britain as well as in the U.S.

Steven Hack
Marketing Workshop
Steven Hack has taught business and marketing to over 300 actors and other entertainment professionals on both coasts for more than 15 years. Mr. Hack teenage acting debut was in the movie Grease. He was a member of the original Broadway cast of Cats and worked with Michael Bennett in A Chorus Line. Mr. Hack's television appearances including Seinfeld, Caroline in the City, Everybody Loves Raymond and Early Edition.

Kathryn Gately
Meisner Technique and Scene Study
Ms. Gately has been head of the Master of Fine Arts Theater department at Northern Illinois University for seven years. Previously, Ms. Gately Gately / Poole Acting Studio in New York City. She worked with Bill Esper at his studio in New York and at the MFA program at Rutgers University. Ms. Gately is considered one of the top three instructors currently teaching the Meisner technique.

Dr. David Kearney

David Kearney, O.M.D., L.Ac. teaches breathe, balance and healing self-pressure. He has over 25 years of experience teaching and healing actors, diplomats, rock stars and spiritual leaders around the world. Dr. Kearney graduated from the International College of Oriental Medicine in the U.K., the Hong Kong College of Acupuncture and the Acupuncture College of Australia.

Patricia Noland
Classes for Young Actors
Widely respected Casting Director PATRICIA NOLAND has been working extensively with young actors since l995. She has served as Head of Casting for Turner Television, Consultant for ABC Family, and cast numerous pilots for the WB, NBC, FOX, etc. She recently completed casting the feature film teen comedy Dirty Deeds starring Milo Ventimiglia and Lacey Chabert. She also cast the NBC Saturday morning teen comedies "Hang Time", "City Guys", "One World" and "All About Us" as well as "USA High" for Rysher Ent. and "Malibu, CA" for Tribune Ent. The list of actors who began their careers with Patricia is long and includes: Keiko Agena (Gilmore Girls), Jay Hernandez, Wesley Jonathan (What I Like About You), Shane West, Chad Michael Murray, Emily Van Camp (Everwood), Scarlett Pomers (Reba) and others.
